At the end of 2025, a decidedly eventful year for banks, Andrea Orcel (88.70) regains the top spot in the Top Manager Reputation ranking. The CEO of UniCredit, awarded Bank of the Year in Italy and five other countries by The Banker in London, is 25th in the ranking of the most influential people in Europe, compiled by Politico, which calls him "the Napoleon of the banking system." Second is Pier Silvio Berlusconi (88.49), fresh from the Mediaset end-of-year event where he presented his excellent results, with MFE expanding in Portugal by acquiring a stake in Impresa. Intesa Sanpaolo CEO Carlo Messina (85.24) climbs two places to third, having awarded 33 SMEs in Northern Italy, supporting women's work with the Women Value Company award, and a project for pediatric oncology at Meyer Hospital. A2A CEO Renato Mazzoncini (83.76) remains stable in fourth place, presenting the Climate Transition Plan. Eni CEO Claudio Descalzi (82.73) is fifth, meeting with the President of Egypt and participating in the Conference of Italian Ambassadors around the world. Alessandro Benetton (80.43) moves up to sixth place with several active projects such as Neya's for the recovery of carbon credits in Madagascar. FS CEO Stefano Antonio Donnarumma (80.10) also moves up to seventh place, commenting on the data on improved train punctuality, particularly on high-speed lines, signing the Safety Protocol with the State Police, and being appointed the new Vice President of the UIC. Poste Italiane CEO Matteo Del Fante (79.90) is eighth, while Urbano Cairo (78.55) confirms his ninth place with La7's excellent performance. In tenth place is Enel CEO Flavio Cattaneo (73.98), who inaugurated the record-breaking electrical cabin in Livigno for the Milan-Cortina line, over 2000 metres high. read more
