Born in Rome on March 27, 1967, and graduated in Political Science from Luiss University, Sestino Giacomoni has held the position of President of Consap since June 2023, a company where he had previously worked as a board member between 2002 and 2005. From 2006 to 2022, Giacomoni was a member of parliament and part of several parliamentary committees, including, from 2019 to 2022, the oversight committee on Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, of which he was the president.
Married with two daughters, Sestino Giacomoni was awarded the title of Knight of the Order of "Merit of the Italian Republic" by President Carlo Azeglio Ciampi in 2002.
