Gian Maria Mossa is the CEO of Banca Generali. Born in Milan in 1974, he began his professional career at RAS, initially in the Risk Management & Asset Allocation sector, later moving to Commercial Management and Marketing Management. In 2006, Gian Maria Mossa joined Banca Fideuram as Product Development Manager, taking on positions of increasing responsibility, until he held the role of Head of Marketing, Business Development, and Private, reporting directly to the CEO. He joined Banca Generali in July 2013 as Deputy General Manager, before being appointed General Manager in April 2016. Since March 2017, Gian Maria Mossa has been the CEO.
Banca Generali was established in 1998 primarily as an online bank. Over the years, it has become the hub for the development of the banking pole of the Generali Group. Today, it is mainly focused on financial consulting and the management of families' financial assets through a network of advisors.
The company manages more than 80 billion euros thanks to a network of over 2,100 advisors. It is present throughout Italy with nearly 200 agencies and branches. Since March 2017, the role of CEO has been held by Gian Maria Mossa.
The bank is listed on the Milan Stock Exchange in the FTSE MIB index.
