Born in Imola in 1965, after studying Economics and Commerce at the University of Bologna, Stefano Domenicali began his professional career in 1991 at Ferrari. In 2004, he took on the role of Sporting Director of Ferrari in Formula 1 and in 2008 became Team Principal of Scuderia Ferrari. From 2009 to 2014, Domenicali represented Ferrari S.p.A. within the World Motorsport Council of the FIA, an organization he still belongs to today as President of the Single-Seater Commission. In November 2014, he became Vice President of New Business Initiatives at AUDI AG. He returned to Italy in 2016 when he was appointed Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Automobili Lamborghini. Since January 2021, he has been President and CEO of F1.
