12 May 2025

In April 2025, first in the Top Manager Reputation ranking (www.topmanagers.it) is the CEO of UniCredit Andrea Orcel (85.56), recurring main player on various complex ongoing banking operations in Italy and Germany. Pier Silvio Berlusconi (85.31) gains two positions and gets to second place by launching a tender offer on Prosiebensat and closes an excellent 2024 with MFE. Third Carlo Messina (83.91), confirmed at the helm of Intesa Sanpaolo, who remains on the sidelines, at least for the moment. A move by him could shuffle the cards. Fourth place for the CEO of Eni Claudio Descalzi (82.48), in fifth place Renato Mazzoncini (78.54), CEO of A2A which closes 2024 with a profit of 816 million and a historic record of almost 3 billion in investments. Also up by one position is the President of Edizione Alessandro Benetton (78.18). Seventh place for Renault CEO Luca de Meo (77.77), followed by Matteo Del Fante (77.30) of Poste, stable in eighth. Brunello Cucinelli (77.29), who receives an honorary doctorate in Architecture from the University of Campania, climbs two places to ninth. Stefano Venier (76.07) is tenth, followed by Giorgio Armani (75.87) in eleventh. Cristina Scocchia, CEO of Illycaffè, gains one position, closing 2024 with record revenues and a 42% increase in profits.
