After graduating in Economics and Commerce from Bocconi in 1984, Alessandro Foti began his career in the Financial Management of IBM in 1985. After three years at Montedison, where he was Chief Financial Officer, he joined Fin-Eco Holding in 1989 as head of the capital markets. In 1993, Alessandro Foti became the director of the operational section, responsible for administration, asset management, and trading. He was appointed a member of the Board of Directors, General Manager, and CEO, and in 2002 he became President of Fin-Eco Sim. In 1999, he became a member of the Board of Directors of FinecoBank, having been on the executive committee of Assosim for three years. Since December 2000, he has been the CEO of FinecoBank, and in July 2014 he will also assume the role of General Manager. From 2003 to 2005, he was a member of the Board of Directors of Ducati Motors Holding and General Manager of FinecoGroup. Since 2008, he has been responsible for the Asset Gathering business line of UniCredit Group, and from May 2010 to January 2015, he was Vice President of the Supervisory Board of DAB Bank AG. From 2013 to the present, he has been a member of the Executive Management Committee of UniCredit Group. Since April 2012, he has been on the Executive Committee of Assoreti, becoming Vice President in 2014. Since July 2014, Alessandro Foti has been a member of the Board of Directors of Borsa Italiana.
