Floriano Masoero is the CEO and President, as well as Head of Smart Infrastructure, of Siemens S.p.A. He holds an MBA from the University of Turin and a master's degree in Electronic Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Turin. He is married and has two daughters. Masoero began his professional career at Iveco in Italy in 2003. In 2004, he joined Schneider Electric, where he stayed for ten years, holding positions of increasing responsibility between Italy and France. He joined Eaton in Switzerland in 2014 in the railway segment, and after a rapid managerial growth in marketing and sales, Masoero became Sales Director for Southeast Europe and previously Country Managing Director for Italy, managing Profit & Loss, sales targets, and all business functions at both the Italian and European levels. As head of the EMEA marketing department, he leads the transformation of the function for Western Europe. Before joining Siemens, he also served as Vice President and General Manager of Eaton's Power Distribution Business Unit.
