Monica Iacono, a law graduate with a specialization in commercial law, began her career in the telecommunications sector. In 2001, she joined the ENGIE Group, where she held roles of increasing responsibility, later being appointed Director of BtC for Italy. In 2020, she also took on responsibility for IT & Digital and, subsequently, for Sourcing Portfolio Management. Since 2016, she has been a member of the ENGIE Italia Steering Committee and, in September 2021, was appointed CEO.
