Class of 1985, graduated in labor sciences, Yuri Santagostino was the Mayor of Cornaredo, in the province of Milan, from 2014 until 2023. An expert in environmental policies and the design and management of waste cycles for public and private entities, Santagostino serves as a board member of the Foundation for Social Housing, which deals with policies and projects to support housing. He held the position of vice president of the Association of Italian Municipalities of Lombardy, focusing on housing issues, and since May 2023, he has been the President of the CAP Group. Since January 17, 2024, he has held the position of president of Confservizi Lombardia, the Association of public service companies in Lombardy. He is married and has two daughters.
