Biography

Elisabetta Franchi, born in Bologna in 1968, the soul of the eponymous brand, is the founder and president of Betty Blue S.p.A. After studying at the Aldrovandi Rubbiani Institute, she began her career as a designer in the fast fashion sector at the age of 19. In 1996, she opened her first small atelier, with 5 collaborators, and just two years later, in 1998, she founded her company, Betty Blue S.p.A, which today has around 300 collaborators and offices all over the world. Since 2012, the designer has chosen to sign her creations with her own name, giving life to the eponymous brand, ELISABETTA FRANCHI.
