Over time, Amazon's activities have expanded beyond e-commerce. Today, it is also a major global leader in the cloud services market. Amazon also owns a number of other ventures in the entertainment field, including Amazon Prime, Amazon Music, Amazon Video, and Amazon Kindle.
Amazon operates in over 200 countries and territories worldwide and has over 1,500,000 employees, of which 950,000 are in the United States alone.
