Founded in the second half of the nineteenth century as the manager of the Italian postal service, it is now a publicly traded company, a leader in correspondence and parcels, financial and insurance services, postal savings, and digital innovation.
With a widespread presence throughout Italy through thousands of post offices, Poste Italiane employs over 120,000 employees serving millions of customers, including citizens, businesses, and the public administration. The historic Italian company is listed on the FTSE MIB index of the Milan Stock Exchange.
