Epta is a large multinational industrial group active in the commercial refrigeration sector, with a presence on five continents. The history of Epta is closely linked to its founder, entrepreneur Luigi Nocivelli, whose career began in post-war Italy when he transformed his father's mechanical workshop into the Ocean industry.

After leading Ercole Marelli in the 1970s, Nocivelli founded the Epta Group in 2003, an entrepreneurial project inspired by the value of family and his seven children.

With plants and subsidiaries around the world, Epta designs and manufactures innovative and sustainable refrigeration solutions for various segments of the large-scale food distribution, from supermarkets to fast food chains.
