Philippe Donnet was appointed Group CEO of Generali in 2016. After graduating from the École Polytechnique in Paris and specializing at the French Institute of Actuaries, he began his career at AXA in 1985. Within the French insurance group, he held managerial positions of increasing responsibility in various geographical regions, including Europe and Asia. After founding HLD Private Equity in 2010, he joined Generali as Country Manager for Italy in 2013.
