Giorgio Tomassetti is the CEO of Octopus Energy Italy and one of the leading experts in EnTech in our country. He graduated with honors in Business Administration from LIUC University with a specialization in Banking, Finance, and Markets. During his university studies, he completed international specialization courses at Oxford Brookes University in the United Kingdom and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in the United States.

Under the leadership of Giorgio Tomassetti, Octopus Energy entered the Italian market in 2022, where it embarked on a growth path aimed at accelerating the decarbonization process in Italy.
Octopus Energy Group is a British renewable energy group specializing in the distribution of sustainable energy. Founded in 2015 with the support of the British company Octopus Group, it is headquartered in London and is currently active in 18 countries across 5 continents. Octopus Energy is the largest electricity supplier to domestic customers in the UK and the second largest in the domestic gas sector. The company entered the Italian market in 2022, where it has embarked on a growth path aimed at accelerating the decarbonization process in Italy.
