Alfonso Dolce, brother of Domenico Dolce - co-founder of the Dolce & Gabbana fashion house with Stefano Gabbana - grew up in Polizzi Generosa (PA) in the family tailoring and textile business. After studying in Sicily and gaining experience in his parents' businesses, he began his professional career in 1984, the year Dolce & Gabbana was founded. In 1987, he moved to Milan to oversee the brand's production and organizational development, taking on roles of increasing responsibility over time until becoming CEO of the Group.
