Luigi Ballanti, born in 1961, graduated in Statistical and Economic Sciences from the University La Sapienza in Rome. He began his career as a financial analyst at Banco di Santo Spirito (1987). Subsequently, he joined Fondicri Sgr, where he held various roles between 1987 and 2000: from financial analyst to head of equity markets, from head of research and asset allocation strategies to deputy general manager.
Since November 2000, Luigi Ballanti has been the general manager of Mefop.
