Born in Cagliari in 1965, Carlo Cimbri is the President of UnipolSai Assicurazioni and Chief Executive Officer, Group CEO, and General Manager of the parent company Unipol Gruppo. He joined Unipol in 1990, became the sole General Manager in 2007, and CEO in 2010. Under his leadership, Unipol has transformed into an internationally recognized entity, one of the main players in the insurance sector at the European level and a leader in Italy in the Non-Life sector. Currently, Carlo Cimbri also holds the position of Board Member of RCS Media Group and Euresa Geie; he is a member of the Executive Board of the Censis Foundation (Center for Social Investment Studies) and FeBAF (Federation of Banks, Insurance, and Finance). In 2016, he was awarded the prestigious “Guido Carli Prize”.
