Antonio Percassi was born in Clusone in 1953. In 1976 he met Luciano Benetton and, in the following year, opened his first store under the Benetton brand. This marks the beginning of Antonio Percassi's activity in the retail sector as well as a thirty-year collaboration with the Benetton family from Ponzano Veneto, which over the years has led him to manage numerous stores, in Italy and around the world, for the brands United Colors, Zerododici, Sisley, and Playlife. Among the other key milestones for further international recognition is the joint venture with Inditex, which in 2001 entrusted Antonio Percassi to enter the Italian market with its famous brand Zara, as well as the other brands of the Inditex Group (Massimo Dutti, Oysho, Pull and Bear, Bershka, Stradivarius). Among Antonio Percassi's other historic collaborations in retail development are those with the brands Swatch, Nike, Levi’s, Calvin Klein, Guess, and Tommy Hilfiger, as well as those in the luxury brands Gucci, Ferrari, and Ralph Lauren. From an idea of his, then concretely realized by his son Stefano, Kiko Milano was born in 1997. One of Antonio Percassi's lifelong passions, Atalanta, returned to play a prominent role in his life from June 2010, when he became President of the black and blue team again, having previously held the position from the end of 1990 to the beginning of 1994.
