Maurizio Tamagnini has been the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of STMicroelectronics since 2020 and CEO of FSI since its establishment (2016). Previously, he was the CEO of the Italian Strategic Fund from 2011 to 2016 and held the position of Head of Southern Europe for Corporate and Investment Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was a member of the Executive Committee for the EMEA region. In his experience of over twenty years, he has managed more than a hundred extraordinary finance operations, private equity, debt, and equity. His career has taken him to work in New York, London, and Milan. He earned a degree with honors in International Monetary Economics from Bocconi University in Milan and completed specialization studies at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy (New York State, USA).
