Born in 1965 in New York, Andrea C. Bonomi founded Investindustrial in 1990 and the non-profit foundation Invest for Children (“i4c”) in 2000. With Investindustrial - an investment company that has raised 6.5 billion euros in capital through its funds and has offices in Europe, the USA, and Asia - he has been a key player in some of the most important private equity transactions in Italy. Andrea C. Bonomi has served as Chairman of the Management Board of Banca Popolare di Milano and as a member of the Board of Directors of several companies including Gruppo Illy, RCS Mediagroup, Permasteelisa, and 21 Investimenti. Investindustrial is now the main shareholder of companies such as B&B Italia, Flos, Aston Martin, Sergio Rossi, PortAventura, Artsana, and Valtur.
Investindustrial is a global private equity firm founded in 1990 by Andrea Campanini Bonomi with the aim of introducing the Anglo-Saxon industrial methodology in Southern Europe. Today, Investindustrial focuses on acquiring medium-sized companies in Europe and selectively in North America.
