An expert in telecommunications at an international level, Pietro Labriola joined the TIM Group in 2001, bringing a solid background from his experiences at France Telecom, Cable&Wireless, Boston Consulting Group, and Infostrada. In Brazil, he led TIM from 2015 as COO and then from 2019 as CEO. In 2020, he was also named Man of Communications by Aberimest Brasil, the Brazilian association of companies in the field. Currently, in addition to being a member of the GSMA board, the association that brings together mobile network operators worldwide, and the General Council of Confindustria, he is also a member of the Board of Directors of the European Institute of Oncology, Vice President of Asstel, and TIM's representative in the General Council of Aspen Institute Italy. In 2023, he received several awards: Ordem do Rio Branco, an honor granted by the Brazilian government's Ministry of Foreign Affairs for TIM's important role in strengthening the ties between the two nations; the award for Best CEO - Small&Mid Cap awarded to him by Institutional Investor; and finally, the Rio Leaders Award, the main recognition given by Lide, the Brazilian association that brings together entrepreneurs and managers in the South American country.
