Born in New York in 1976, John Elkann graduated in management engineering in Turin. In 1997 he was chosen by Gianni Agnelli, his grandfather, as his successor to lead the Fiat group. Starting in 2003, he began working on the relaunch of Fiat, and the following year he became the vice president of the company. In 2010, John Elkann took the reins of the group from Luca Cordero di Montezemolo. In July 2018, Elkann assumed the role of President of Ferrari. Since January 2021, he has been the President of the new Stellantis group. Married to Lavinia Borromeo and father of three children. Passionate about sailing and vintage cars.
