Mara Panajia, a graduate of Bocconi University in Milan, after an experience at Danone, began working at Henkel in 2000. From 2006 to 2012, she coordinated marketing in Italy, Greece, and Cyprus, before moving to the commercial area.
In 2014, Mara Panajia moved to Düsseldorf and took on the role of Corporate Vice President, responsible for global marketing for Value for Money Laundry & Home Care. Four years later, she returned to Italy as General Manager of LHC. Since September 2022, she has been President and CEO of Henkel Italy, as well as General Manager of Henkel Consumer Brands.
Henkel is a German chemical company, headquartered in Düsseldorf and present in 125 countries. Founded in 1876 in Aachen, Germany, the company operates in three business segments: home care, personal care, and Adhesives, Sealants & Surface Treatment.
