The Associazione Sportiva Roma, better known as AS Roma or simply Roma, is an Italian football club based in the city of Rome. It competes in Serie A, the top division of the Italian championship. It was founded in 1927 through the merger of three teams and, including the 2023-2024 season, has participated in 95 national championships (91 in Serie A, three in Divisione Nazionale, and one in Serie B). It also boasts two victories in international cups.

At the national level, the team has won three scudetti, nine Coppe Italia, and two Supercoppe italiane. In the world club ranking ("Club World Ranking"), compiled by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) and updated to 2021, Roma ranks 18th, while regarding the club coefficient compiled by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) and updated to 2023, the Giallorossi rank 10th.
