Giuseppe Marsocci, a native of Turin, holds a degree in Economics and Business from the University of Turin and boasts over 35 years of international experience in the fashion and luxury industry. His initial roles included sales, marketing, and brand management at the Turin-based GFT Group, a licensee for Valentino, Dior, Ungaro, Stone Island, and Armani himself. Other significant experience includes five years at Fila Sport (HDP Group) as head of international business development, before joining the Armani Group directly in 2003, holding roles of increasing responsibility both at the Milan headquarters and in its international subsidiaries. These positions include: Commercial Director of Armani Collezioni, CEO of the Swiss subsidiary (formerly the logistics/customer service hub for all foreign markets), Global Director of Distribution/Wholesale, and for over ten years at the New York headquarters, first as President of Trimil US, a Zegna/Armani joint venture, until he served as CEO of the Americas from 2014 to 2019.
In recent years, he has served as Deputy General Manager and Global Chief Commercial Officer of the group, role in which he reported directly to Mr. Armani. He has served on numerous corporate boards, including as President of Giorgio Armani Retail Srl and as CEO/President of various foreign companies within the group. He is passionate about sports, journalism, wine, and philosophy.
