Born in Trieste in 1960, from 1995 to March 2019, Giovanni Bossi was the CEO of Banca IFIS. Graduated in Economics and Commerce in Trieste, he was a lecturer from 1990 to 1992 at the Chair of Public Finance and Financial Law at Luiss University in Rome, and is the author of several scientific papers. Giovanni Bossi has been a chartered accountant since 1989 and has been registered in the Register of Auditors since 1992. He is passionate about sports, a natural maker of the new way of banking, and deeply loves his country. In August 2019, he founded Cherry srl and has been leading Cherry Bank S.p.A. since 2022.
Cherry Bank S.p.A. was founded in February 2022 from a project that started in October 2021 with the merger of Cherry106 S.p.A., a regulated financial intermediary, into Banco delle Tre Venezie S.p.A, a banking entity rooted in the Veneto region.
