Biography

Paolo Scaroni was born in 1946 in Vicenza. Banker, sports executive, and President of Milan, in May 2023 he was appointed President of Enel. After graduating in Economics and Commerce from Bocconi University in Milan, he obtained a master's degree in Business Administration from Columbia University in New York. He began his professional career at the consulting firm McKinsey. Paolo Scaroni served as CEO of Pilkington, a British company producing industrial glass, from 1996 to 2002. Between 2002 and 2014, he held the position of CEO of Eni and Enel. He is currently a board member of Veolia Environnement (Paris) and Il Sole24Ore. In 2017, he joined the board of directors of Milan and in July 2018, he was appointed President and Interim CEO.
