Miuccia Prada is co-Executive Director of the Prada Group, one of the world leaders in the luxury industry. She graduated in Political Science from the State University of Milan and she is dedicated to creating accessories for the family business founded by her grandfather Mario Prada in 1913. In the late 1970s, she met Patrizio Bertelli, a Tuscan entrepreneur. The two become partners, and their professional relationship later evolved into an emotional bond. Together with Patrizio Bertelli, she is the architect of the development and international expansion of Prada, rapidly pushing the brand and its products towards new frontiers and expanding into other sectors.
