Walter Renna - born in 1982, with a degree in Economics from Bologna and a master's degree from Bocconi University in Milan - has been CEO and Chairman of the Executive Committee of Fastweb + Vodafone since January 2025.
He joined Fastweb in 2008 and oversaw strategy, business planning, and M&A transactions, contributing to key projects such as the expansion of the fiber network. After holding roles of increasing responsibility - including Chief Operating Officer, Chief Product Officer, and finally CEO in 2023 - he led the company's sustainability, innovation, and operational efficiency. Previously, Walter Renna worked at KPMG Advisory on M&A transactions in the fashion & luxury, publishing, and automotive sectors.
Fastweb + Vodafone is the corporate brand created from the merger of Fastweb and Vodafone Italia, both part of the Swisscom group. The acquisition, announced in March 2024 and completed on December 31st, 2024, created one of Italy's leading convergent operators, integrating fixed-line and mobile services nationwide. The group focuses on technological innovation, the expansion of high-speed networks, and the goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2035.
