Biography

Andrea Sironi holds a degree in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan. In addition to having served as Rector of Bocconi University, he has held the position of Pro-Rector for International Relations, Dean of the Graduate School, and Director of the Research Division of SDA Bocconi. He was a financial analyst at Chase Manhattan Bank in London, President of CEMS, the global alliance of management schools, and a member of the board of directors of London Stock Exchange Group, Banco Popolare, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, Unicredit Group, and Intesa Sanpaolo. He was Vice President of Banca Aletti and President of Borsa Italiana. Since May 2022, Andrea Sironi has been the President of Generali. He is currently Vice President and Professor of Financial Intermediaries Economics at Bocconi University in Milan.
