The bank beat expectations with a net profit of €2.6 billion in the third quarter and a net profit of €8.7 billion for the nine months (+13%). Eni CEO Claudio Descalzi (87.35) is in third place, strengthening his alliance with Petronas for Asian gas, closing the third quarter above expectations, and celebrating 30 years of listing on the NYSE. A2A CEO Renato Mazzoncini (86.64) is fourth, updating his business plan to 2025 with €23 billion in investments. Intesa Sanpaolo CEO Carlo Messina (86.01) is fifth, also closing the first nine months with a profit of €7.6 billion (+6%) and receiving the European Banker of the Year 2024 award. Poste Italiane CEO Matteo Del Fante (80.75) is sixth, rising four points, celebrating the 150th anniversary of postal savings and the 10th anniversary of its stock market listing with CDP and President Mattarella. Alessandro Benetton (80.39) remains seventh, while FS CEO Stefano Donnarumma (78.75) is eighth, rising one point, strategically eyeing high-speed rail in Germany.
