In February, there were changes on the podium of Top Manager Reputation observatory (www.topmanagers.it). Intesa Sanpaolo CEO Carlo Messina (91.22) gained three points and first place, thanks to the widespread media attention surrounding his 2029 business plan and his excellent results for 2025. Messina emphasized that the bank's strength lies, first and foremost, in its people. UniCredit CEO Andrea Orcel (90.85) made a similar point, closing the year with a record net profit of €10.6 billion, up 14%. Rumors arose of a meeting with Philippe Donnet regarding a possible alliance in asset management. Pier Silvio Berlusconi (88.30) came in third, after a surprise visit to the ProSiebenSat headquarters and launching a campaign against cyberbullying. Mediaset intends to allocate any compensation from the lawsuit against Fabrizio Corona to the victims of these crimes.
Fourth is Claudio Descalzi (84.89), close to being re-elected at Eni's helm. A2A CEO Renato Mazzoncini (81.37) remains in fifth place. Alessandro Benetton (77.98) is sixth, inaugurating a new 21Art gallery in Rome and, on the occasion of the opening of the Olympics, recalling the successes achieved at the Cortina 2021 World Championships; in seventh is Stefano Donnarumma (77.78), launching FS Engineering led by Dario Lo Bosco and FS Advisory by Ernesto Sicilia, highlighting the record €18.5 billion in investments in 2025 and calling those for the Olympics a "lasting heritage for the country." Pierroberto Folgiero (75.37), CEO of Fincantieri, moves up four places to eighth place, signing numerous new agreements and important orders, presenting the plan to 2030, inaugurating the new oceanographic vessel "Quirinale" and receiving President Mattarella in Palermo. Enel CEO Flavio Cattaneo (75.33) remains stable in ninth place. Giuseppina Di Foggia (75.22), CEO of Terna, climbs one place to tenth, with the company having reached its highest level on the Milan Stock Exchange since 2004 under her leadership.
Poste Italiane CEO Matteo Del Fante (75.16) is eleventh. Urbano Cairo (75.01) is twelfth, while Pietro Labriola (70.87) remains thirteenth. Banca Generali CEO Gian Maria Mossa (70.68) climbs two places to fourteenth, with a record net profit of €445.8 million in 2025. Cristina Scocchia (70.39) is fifteenth, while Luca de Meo (70.02) is sixteenth. Marina Berlusconi (68.13) climbs two places to seventeenth, with wide-ranging statements on the future of Forza Italia and Trump's interference. Rounding out the Top 20 are: Luca Dal Fabbro (67.56), Fabrizio Palermo (67.03), who rose by one point, and Claudio Andrea Gemme (66.99), who rose by three.
Rising in the Top 200 are: Giampiero Strisciuglio (24th, +3); Pietro Salini (25th, +7); Giovanni Ferrero (33rd, +6); Remo Ruffini (37th, +9); Dario Scannapiedo (39th, +6); Benedetto Vigna (55th, +12); Joerg Eberhart (56th, +9); Fabrizio Di Amato (67th, +18).
