The start of the year was marked by a certain torpor, with a 65% drop in media coverage. At the top of the Top Manager Reputation ranking is UniCredit CEO Andrea Orcel (90.76), who, bucking the trend, even just before New Year's Eve, issued a warning in the columns of Börsen-Zeitung regarding the urgency of establishing large European banking groups to avoid succumbing to the US.
In second place was Pier Silvio Berlusconi (88.51), who celebrated the 34th anniversary of TG5 and the turning point of MFE with the ProSiebenSat operation. In third place was Eni CEO Claudio Descalzi (86.09): increasingly invested in a strategic and diplomatic role over the years, he announced at the White House that Eni was ready to invest in Venezuela.
In fourth place is Carlo Messina (85.77), CEO of Intesa Sanpaolo, earning the title of Top Employer in Europe, which strengthens its governance with two new appointments to the top positions in risk and compliance. Fifth place goes to A2A CEO Renato Mazzoncini (83.40), sixth is Matteo Del Fante (80.02) with rumors of a reappointment at Poste Italiane. Alessandro Benetton (77.87) is seventh and Stefano Antonio Donnarumma (76.72) eighth. Flavio Cattaneo (76.19) moves up one place in ninth, while anticipation grows for Enel's Capital Markets Day. Tenth place goes to Urbano Cairo (75.77).
Terna CEO Giuseppina Di Foggia (74.67) remains stable in eleventh place, followed in twelfth place by Pierroberto Folgiero (73.78), who moves up one place with Fincantieri, one of the industrial players in the Arctic shipping game. In thirteenth place, Pietro Labriola (71.67), CEO of TIM, who is experiencing momentum on the stock market, reaching nearly 12 billion in market capitalization, climbs three places. Illycaffè CEO Cristina Scocchia (71.11) gains one place, closing 2025 with a 10% increase in turnover despite a 50% increase in raw material costs. Luca de Meo (69.79) is fifteenth. In sixteenth place, Banca Generali CEO Gian Maria Mossa (69.08) climbs one place, with 2025 results exceeding expectations. Luca Dal Fabbro (68.35) is seventeenth, while in eighteenth place, Miuccia Prada (68.17) jumps four with her new collections. Closing out the top 20: Marina Berlusconi (67.06) and Fabrizio Palermo (65.72).
