Bruno Scaroni has been Country CEO of Zurich Italy since January 2024. He previously worked for the group between 2008 and 2013, leading business growth both locally and globally. He boasts a long career in the insurance industry. After graduating in Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan and earning an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York, he joined Assicurazioni Generali. There, he served as CEO of Europ Assistance Italia and Head of Distribution in Italy, before taking on the role of Group Strategy and Business Accelerator Director and, subsequently, Group Chief Transformation Officer. His career path saw him join McKinsey & Company in 2004, following an experience at Goldman Sachs starting in 2000. Since 2018, he has been a member of the EIOPA Insurance and Reinsurance Stakeholder Group.
