Biography

Born in Naples in 1956, Paolo Fiorentino graduated with top marks in Economics and Commerce and in 1981 began his professional career at Credito Italiano. In 2007 he was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the UniCredit group, within which, previously, he held, among other positions, the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bulbank A.D. and Zagrebacka Banka D.D., gaining international experience. Paolo Fiorentino was also the Chief Executive Officer of Capitalia until its merger into the UniCredit group and subsequently the Chief Executive Officer of UniCredit Banca di Roma, a position he held until 2009. From 2009 to 2018 he was the Chief Executive Officer of Banca Carige.
