Born in Chamaliéres (France) in 1961, after a degree from École Polytechnique and one from École des Mines in Paris, Jean Pierre Mustier began his professional journey at Société Générale. He held various roles in different business areas, operating not only in Europe but also in Asia and the United States. In 2011, he joined UniCredit as Deputy General Manager responsible for the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Division. In 2015, he became a partner, based in London, of the asset management group Tikehau Capital. From 2016 to February 2021, Jean Pierre Mustier was the CEO of UniCredit. He is married and a father of two children.
