Biography

Born in Tombolo in 1940. After graduating in accounting, he began his banking career. In 1969, Ennio Doris embarked on a financial consulting path for the Fideuram company. In 1971, he joined Dival and, thanks to the success achieved and the experience gained in the savings world, he began to develop the desire to create an entrepreneurial project that would allow him to offer clients comprehensive solutions. His project would be realized a few years later thanks to a chance meeting in Portofino with Silvio Berlusconi. In 1982, Ennio Doris founded, together with the Fininvest Group, Programma Italia, an important financial intermediation network that became Banca Mediolanum in June 1997. Married to Lina Tombolato since 1966, he is the father of two children: Massimo Doris and Sara Doris.

Banca Mediolanum is a direct bank that offers banking, investment, insurance, and credit services with its legal headquarters in Basiglio, Milan 3. It was founded in 1995 by Ennio Doris, who was its president until September 21, 2021. Today it is led by Massimo Antonio Doris, Ennio's son.

Banca Mediolanum is the parent company of the Mediolanum Banking Group, which controls product companies in the three sectors of banking, insurance, and asset management. To date, it has over 1.6 million customers.

The company is listed on the FTSE MIB index of the Milan Stock Exchange.
