Biography

Born in Genoa in 1981, Ernesto Fürstenberg Fassio is the President of Banca Ifis and, in his role as President of the Sustainability Committee and the Brand Committee, promotes strategic projects in the ESG field and initiatives aimed at enhancing the Bank's image.

Graduated in Law from the University of Padua, he obtained a Master's degree in Accounting, Auditing and Control from Bocconi University. Since 2009, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of Fürstenberg Scogliera Holding SA, the holding company that controls Banca Ifis. Since 2018, he has held the position of Chief Executive Officer of Fürstenberg Scogliera Holding SA. Ernesto Fürstenberg Fassio is also a Director of Ifis Npl Investing S.p.A., an administrator of Aidexa S.p.A., of the Bambino Gesù ONLUS Foundation, of the Institute of the Italian Encyclopedia founded by Giovanni Treccani S.p.A. and of ABI, and President of the Board of Directors of the Fürstenberg Fassio Foundation.
