Biography

Victor Massiah, CEO of UBI Banca since December 1, 2008, has also been the General Manager since June 1, 2015. He graduated in Economics and Commerce from La Sapienza University in Rome and began working in 1982 at Andersen Consulting. In 1989, he became a consultant at McKinsey & Co. From 1997, he worked at Banco Ambrosiano Veneto, becoming Commercial Director in February 1998 and then Deputy General Manager. Following the foundation of Banca Intesa, in 1999 he was responsible for the Market Area and in January 2001 he became Deputy General Manager. Since 2002, he has been part of the Banca Lombarda Group, becoming General Manager in early 2003. From April 1, 2007, to November 30, 2008, he was the General Manager of UBI Banca, a company born from the merger of Banche Popolari Unite and Banca Lombarda e Piemontese.
