Biography

Born in Rome in 1951, Stefano Cao graduated in mechanical engineering from the University of Rome. He began his career in 1976, first at Saipem and later at the Eni Group. From 2009 to 2012, he served as CEO and Managing Director of Sintonia, and from 2014 to 2015, he was the Chairman of Spig Spa. On April 30, 2015, Stefano Cao was appointed CEO of Saipem. Married with two children.
