Biography

Born in Lanzhou in 1958, Ren Jianxin graduated in engineering from Guanbo Dianshi University of Gansu in 1982 and obtained a master's degree in business management from Lanzou University in 1994. In 1984, he co-founded China National Bluestar, the first chemical purification company in China, and following the corporate restructuring involving companies under the Chinese Ministry of Chemical Industry, he became the chairman of China National Chemical Corporation. Throughout his career, he has been the President of Pirelli and has held the position of chairman of the board of China National Chemical Corporation, Syngenta Ltd. Switzerland, and TPIH.
