Guido Bastianini began his career at the Studies and Planning Office of the National Bank of Agriculture, then moved to the Banco di Santo Spirito and later to the Bank of Rome. Bastianini joined Sator in 2008 to become vice president and then president of Banca Profilo. In April 2016, he joined Carige, where he remained until 2017. From May 2020 to February 2022, he served as CEO of Banca MPS.
