Gabriele Galateri di Genola was the Chairman of Generali from April 8, 2011, to May 2022. A graduate in Law, he obtained a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University. Appointed CEO of IFIL in 1986 and CEO and General Manager of IFI in 1993, he was subsequently elected CEO of Fiat in 2002. Additionally, from April 26, 2003, to April 24, 2010, he was a Director and Vice Chairman of Assicurazioni Generali.
