Edoardo Lanzavecchia, graduated in engineering from the Politecnico di Milano and MBA from Bocconi University in Milan, founded Alpha Associati in 2007 and is Managing Partner based in Italy. Edoardo began his career at ABB as Export Manager in the Energy Division, was a strategic consultant for the Mac Group, and joined SO.PA.F as a Partner. In 1998, he founded and led The Carlyle Group Italy. He was a member of the Investment Committee of Carlyle Europe Partners I and II. In June 2005, he became a Founding Partner of Magenta SGR.
