Biography

Graduated in Economics and Commerce from the “La Sapienza” University of Rome. Knight of the Order of Merit for Labour. From 2007 to 2017, Maria Bianca Farina served as CEO of Poste Vita and Poste Assicura. Since December 2015, she has been the President of ANIA and since 2016, the President of the ANIA Foundation. Vice President of the Board of Directors of FEBAF. Since September 2015, she has been a member of the Board of Directors of the “Bambino Gesù Onlus” Foundation and is also a Board Member of “Save the Children”. Since 2014, Maria Bianca Farina has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Financial Information and Supervision Authority of the Holy See, appointed by Pope Francis. A Certified Public Accountant, she has held and continues to hold positions on various Boards of Directors and Board of Statutory Auditors as President or member. She regularly participates as a speaker in conferences organized by trade associations, companies, or journalistic outlets on topics related to insurance, economics, industry, and welfare. She served as the President of the Board of Directors of Poste Italiane from April 2017 to May 2023.
