Biography

Massimiliano Silvestri was born in 1977 in Bari, where he graduated in Economics and Business. He joined the Lidl Group in 2002 and, after a stint at the German parent company, began his career at Lidl Italy in 2003, where he served as Managing Director of Sales until early 2017, when he was appointed to lead Lidl Portugal. Since March 2019, Massimiliano Silvestri has been President of Lidl Italy.
