Born in 1969, Federico Marchetti graduated in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan. In 1999, he created YOOX, a synthesis of his entrepreneurial vision and passion for fashion and design. In 2015, he perfected the merger with The Net-A-Porter Group, giving rise to YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP (YNAP), a global leader in luxury fashion e-commerce, of which he took on the role of CEO. Federico Marchetti has received numerous awards and recognitions including the Leonardo Award for Innovation in 2012, from the former President of the Italian Republic, Giorgio Napolitano; Entrepreneur of the Year from Ernst & Young in 2016; and Knight of Labor in 2017 from the current President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella.
