Biography

Born in 1964 in Paris. After graduating from ESCP (1988), Arnaud De Puyfontaine began his career as a consultant at Arthur Andersen and later worked as a project manager at Rhône-Poulenc Pharma in Indonesia. In 1990, he joined the newspaper Le Figaro as Executive Director. In 2000, he specialized at Harvard. Arnaud De Puyfontaine is one of the founders of the EMAP group in France, of which he became CEO and Chairman in 1999. In August 2006, he was appointed President and CEO of Mondadori Editions France. In June 2007, he was appointed General Director, responsible for all digital activities of the Mondadori Group. A turning point occurred in 2014 when Vincent Bolloré chose him to lead Vivendi. From 2017 to May 2018, Arnaud De Puyfontaine was executive chairman of Telecom Italia-TIM. Married with four children.
