Calabrese, graduated in computer science in Pisa, began his career at Olivetti. Since 1995 Antonio Converti has been dedicated to the web: first at Italiaonline, where he created the search engine Arianna, then at Wind, where he managed the start-up of the Internet division. In 2011, he managed the spin-off from Wind of the Libero portal and the ITnet service provider. A year later, at the helm of Libero Srl, Antonio Converti completed the acquisition of Matrix from Telecom Italia: thus the "new" Italiaonline was born, the first internet operator in Italy. In 2016, he led the merger by incorporation between the first national web company and SEAT Pagine Gialle. Married, he has a daughter and is passionate about jazz music.
Italiaonline S.p.A. (previously Italiaonline S.r.l.) is an Italian company active throughout the entire supply chain of digital marketing solutions and online communication, born in 2016 from the merger by incorporation of the old Italiaonline S.p.A. with Seat Pagine Gialle S.p.A.
The company's goal is to digitize the Italian small and medium-sized enterprises. In 2017, it was the first Italian digital company by number of unique users, on average, per day.
